In combination with a photovoltaic system, the batteries serve other industrial customers in this way as cost-effective storage, as a self-consumption system and for load balancing. The locally generated and stored electricity thus makes a significant contribution to CO2 savings.<\/p>\n<p>For TRICERA energy, the local generation approach is particularly important for the provision of a 100% climate-neutral battery. The battery modules are currently characterized by almost complete value creation within Saxony. The battery system is manufactured entirely in Saxony, and almost all the components supplied come from Saxon SMEs companies.<\/p>\n<p>Martin Hartmann, Managing Director of TRICERA energy, is pleased about the award and is proud: &#8220;The award confirms us in our goal of supporting the energy turnaround through local decentralized generation. The Future Prize also motivates us to develop and support local value creation and the workforce in the region and to support them.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>\n<h3>About the \u201cZukunftspreis Sachsen\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<p>With the eku &#8211; ZUKUNFTSPREIS 2021, the Saxon State Ministry for Energy, Climate Protection, Environment and Agriculture (SMEKUL) aims to support and make visible the diverse commitment of people in Saxony and to promote communication with and between the various stakeholders at all levels. A total of 256 applications were reviewed and evaluated by a panel of experts in a multi-stage process.
